Wabi Umalas was conceived from a desire to create a Bali villas environment that would distinguish itself architecturally as well as be attractive as an investment. Our vision is to create a Bali villas that are treasured by owners as their vacation home, as well as be remembered and revisited by guests from around the world.

Wabi Umalas Bali property strives to bring together the best aspects of villas and boutique hotels; giving the privacy and personality of a stand-alone villa but with outstanding service.

The Wabi property comprises:

• A total of nine villas; six 2-bedroom, two 3-bedroom and one 4-bedroom.
• Café & bar together with the function facilities. The main kitchen adjoins this area.
• A Reception building housing also maintenance, staff changing rooms and parking.
• Parking, common walkways and a bridge over the river.

The Site

Wabi Umalas is set on 68 are of land - equal to 6800 m² or just under two acres. The villas lie in a peaceful rural setting bordered by a river and trees on the west side and picturesque terraced rice fields to the north.

This beautiful outlook is enhanced by spectacular views of the mountains in the early morning and evenings. From the highest level of the site down to the river, the land drops a little more than ten metres. This affords each of the Bali villa a complete privacy and ensures each has its own unique view.

The approach to the Wabi is through the traditional Balinese village of Umalas. A country lane then winds through rice paddies for another kilometre before reaching a lane access to the Wabi villas.
