Bali Villas | Umalas Villas

Located in the picturesque area known as Umalas, the three ensuite bedroom Bali villa, Umah Duri, is a short ten minute drive by car to the upscale areas of Seminyak and Canggu, which boast some of the finest shopping, dining, and nightlife on the island, along with several fine beaches ideal for swimming and surfing.

This contemporary three-bedroom Bali property  Asian-influenced villa provides a cosy yet open-air lodging from which to escape the bustle of downtown and retire into ones own private world.
Guests approach this Bali private villa  by passing by the security post at the entrance, and then through a stone yin-yang mosaic entrance. A long walled walkway flanked on both sides by blooming tropical bamboo native to Bali adds another level of privacy.

Two separate buildings constitute the main living areas of this Bali villa, separated by an open lawn and swimming pool, and natural tiled walkways lined in decorative smooth stones. The slightly elevated main building consists of a living area and kitchen flanked on both sides by wrap-around veranda and two bedrooms with private ensuite bathrooms. A formal dining terrace is located to the far right of the structure. The master bedroom and its ensuite bathroom are situated in the second building. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and come with security safety boxes.

Dividing the shaded wrap-around porch of this Bali villa main building into two distinct areas is the main living room, which can be opened up for natural ventilation or closed off by full-length sliding glass doors. All the walls are covered with natural colour palimanan stones which give a wonderful outdoor feeling to this room. The furniture is a mix of sculpted modern and antique styles. Two long blissfully relaxing Indonesian sofas offer lounging space atop ivory mattresses and a backing of plush pillows. A solid coffee table in antique teak wood rests in the middle, and along one wall is a solid teak wooden shelving for the flat screen TV (with Satellite TV), DVD player and iPod speaker system.

A wide selection of DVD’s is available accommodating children and adults alike. A palimanan tiled wall conceals part of the fully equipped, very bright, enlarged brand new modern kitchen equipped with a water purifier, drinks fridge and separate fridge/freezer. The contours of the solid teak bar top accentuate the natural patterns of the wood, and create a comfortable bar area in front of the kitchen from which one can overlook the expanse of this Bali property. The kitchen is complemented with an adjacent fully equipped laundry room. The exposed timber cathedral ceiling arches to a point incorporating ceiling fans and heat extractors to create a comfortable airflow environment.

Two contemporary bedrooms are set off to either side of the main living room. The floors and ceilings of both rooms are paneled with dark teak-wood, offering a subtle contrast to the prominent lime green and turquoise toned decoration features, accented by recessed lighting fixtures.

Bali Villas | Umalas Villas

The Villa Artis is located in the Village of Umalas, close from Seminyak facilities, but still offering a panoramic view on the terrace rice fields. The size of this Bali villa land is 4300 m2; all building parts and every bedroom is overlooking the garden and the view.

The swimming pool is fifteen meters long, and the garden is arranged with three different resting area, offering a sample of the various architecture of the Archipelago.

This Bali villa is combining modern facilities, very high power electricity (more than 25 KW) and generator supply, strong water pressure in each bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, ADSL Wi-FI internet in each building and by the pool, with classical finest antique Indonesian style. In each bedroom is at least one double size spring bed.

The compound is composed of four separate buildings:

One Staff area (140 m2), located at the entrance in an original Javanese Joglo, with huge kitchen, laundry and maintenance. The extra large kitchen can be used for catering or dinner party.

The main house (around 400 m2)

In this house is located a spacious living area, and the dining terrace, overlooking the rice fields, with an extra kitchen and a bar. The floor is made of wood and the walls covered by tinted cement and terrazzo. This three bedrooms Bali villas are air conditioned and decorated in its own style. The master bedroom located upstairs is around 60 m2. The two bathrooms have an open-air garden, and one has a Jacuzzi.

The guest bungalow (around 80 m2)

Completely independent from the main house, with its large bedroom and lounge, and its open-air bathroom, it offers a perfect hide away for a couple or one family, with its extra bed downstairs, which can accommodate a child, as well as being accommodated like a sofa. The bathroom has its own garden and terrazzo bathtub.

The Antique Aceh House (100 m2)

In this building overlooking the rice fields and the pool is located a huge suite upstairs, with a lounge and unsuited child room, all with an amazing view. Downstairs is located a bathroom dedicated to the user, and an amazing resting place on a wooden deck, with swings, lazy chairs and sofa. Once a gain a completely different space, independent form the rest of the house, which can accommodate a whole family.

The Garden

The very large garden (4300 m2) is nesting different resting area, including a Beautiful Balinese Bale Gede, a Javanese Bale by the swimming pool, trampoline in the shade for children, and swings. Huge trees and flowers, large lotus pound.

Staff and Services

Our staff (9 persons full time) is very efficient and provides a full service, seven days, including shopping meal preparation and service, until 10 PM, and laundry for our guest with no extra charge. Most of the women speaks English and understands French. They know any shopping place. The cooking is fine, including French, Thai, Japanese and Italian specialities. We also provide security at night. Dry clean is available, with an extra charge. Larger dinner parties can be arranged on request, as well as baby-sitting with an extra charge.
