The villa Artis is located in the Village of Umalas, close from Seminyak facilities, but still offering a panoramic view on the terrace rice fields. The size of this Bali property is 4300 m2; all building parts and every bedroom is overlooking the garden and the view. The swimming pool is fifteen meters long, and the garden is arranged with three different resting area, offering a sample of the various architecture of the Archipelago.

This Bali villa is combining modern facilities, very high power electricity (more than 25 KW) and generator supply, strong water pressure in each bathroom, satellite TV, telephone, ADSL Wi-FI internet in each building and by the pool, with classical finest antique Indonesian style. In each bedroom is at least one double size spring bed.

The garden
The very large garden is nesting different resting area, including a Beautiful Balinese Bale Gede, a Javanese Bale by the swimming pool, trampoline in the shade for children, and swings. Huge trees and flowers, large lotus pound.

Staff and service
Our staff (9 persons full time) is very efficient and provides a full service, seven days, including shopping meal preparation and service, until 10 PM, and laundry for our guest with no extra charge. Most of the women speaks English and understands French. They know any shopping place. The cooking is fine, including French, Thai, Japanese and Italian specialities. We also provide security at night. Dry clean is available, with an extra charge.

Bali Villas | Umalas Villas

Location in Umalas, north of Kerobokan, only 30 minutes drive from drive from the airport, and only ten minutes from the restaurant and nightlife center of Seminyak and Legian, the Banyan Estate villa is a magnificent newly renovated Bali property. Named for the ancient and massive Banyan tree that dominates the land and the buildings, this compound boasts many modern amenities, allowing its guests to enjoy their Holiday villas in style and comfort.

Within this Bali villa itself, following a style that is very common in Bali, are six individual structures. Starting from the main entrance after the parking area and staff quarters, the main house is adjacent to a large sundeck and swimming pool. Next is the guest house, a gym, and two outdoor bales (Balinese gazebos). All the buildings are painted in warm earthy colors set off by the white deck, green grass, thatched roofs and green ivy flowing down from the second floor of the main house. Terrazzo has been used for all the floors, leaving them cool to the feet in the tropical heat of Bali. Ceiling fans are located throughout all the rooms of the property, and all the bedrooms have air-conditioning. Displayed throughout the grounds of the estate are a variety of elegant antiques and Balinese statuary.

The first thing guests will notice upon entering the Banyan Estate is the huge Banyan tree in the middle of the complex that towers above the dining bale. To the west, lies a small lawn containing tropical flowers and strands of young bamboo. This Bali property is roughly triangular shaped and bordered on two sides by high walls, with its longest side next to a small river.

Owing to its large size and detached structures, there are many separate and distinct areas where guests can congregate in large numbers, or break up into smaller groups, depending on how the mood strikes them, making the Banyan Estate eminently suitable for hosting large groups of people and entertaining.

The main house of this Bali villa is made up of two floors with a large wrap-around deck on the second floor, topped by an alang-alang (thatched) roof. At one end of the ground floor is the dining room with its stately sixteen-seat wooden table that was custom built for the house. Separated by a wide counter and complete with bar stools, is a large open-plan western style kitchen with all the modern amenities. Adjacent, is the living room with a complete audiovisual center, as well as large couches opening out onto the sundeck.

At the other end of the ground floor is a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. All these rooms look out onto the large white colored sundeck complete with deckchairs, hosting a twelve-meter blue tiled, kidney shaped swimming pool, plus a smaller pool adjacent which contains built-in seats suitable for lounging while escaping the heat.
